About Dr Keegan Naidoo

Dr Keegan Naidoo is an orthopaedic surgeon whose practice includes shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist conditions, sports injuries and complex trauma.

He works with patients across a broad range of ages and activity levels, from problems affecting everyday hand function to injuries that interrupt work or sport.

Professional background

Education & experience

Dr Naidoo completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

He served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at RK Khan Hospital and later led the Orthopaedics Department as Acting Head, managing complex cases in a high-volume public-sector environment and guiding junior colleagues.

During this period he also managed a dedicated Hand and Upper Limb Unit at St Aidan’s Hospital, refining his experience in hand, wrist and upper-limb surgery.

For more than ten years he was mentored in practice by Dr Roy Rajoo, gaining extensive exposure to complex hand injuries, reconstructive procedures and challenging upper-limb conditions before Dr Rajoo’s retirement.

Personal life

Dr Naidoo is a proud father of two young children. His wife is the practice manager and helps ensure patients experience a responsive, well-organised and welcoming journey from first contact to follow-up care.

He is a Christian with strong spiritual values and is actively involved in his church and community-upliftment initiatives. These values reinforce his emphasis on compassion, service and respect for every patient.
