Before your appointment

Our practice uses a secure electronic healthcare system. Once your appointment is confirmed, the rooms will provide an individual registration link. Please use that link to complete or update your personal details, medical history, medical-aid information and consent before your appointment.
If you do not receive the link or cannot complete it, contact the rooms before your visit.All relevant X-ray, CT and MRI images are required. Our doctors read the radiology report, but they must also view the actual images to correlate the findings with your symptoms and examination before making an appropriate management decision.

Medical-aid rules differ between schemes and benefit options. Some require a GP referral before a specialist consultation or prior authorisation for investigations, injections, surgery or hospital admission.
Certain medical-aid options exclude or restrict cover for particular orthopaedic conditions, investigations, procedures or joint replacements. Membership of a medical aid does not automatically guarantee cover. Please confirm your benefits, networks, exclusions, co-payments and authorisation requirements directly with your scheme.
Hip and knee replacement pathways
For qualifying members, primary hip or knee replacement may be covered in full or through a defined bundled benefit when the applicable programme, hospital network, clinical criteria and prior-authorisation requirements are met.
